Attraction : Castle of Waleffe in FAIMES

Presentation In the purest classical style, Château de Waleffe is listed as an exceptional heritage site in Wallonia. The interior decoration and furnishings, also listed, are inspired by 17th-century taste.

Owned by the de Potesta family for thirteen generations, the site is the ideal place to experience castle life for the duration of a visit.

The current château grounds were redesigned in the 19th century on the site of the magnificent 18th-century formal gardens. A two-hundred-year-old hornbeam and an avenue of lime trees are the last traces of this park. The main courtyard features a large parterre of greenery, punctuated by six yew pyramids and two baskets of annuals in a pointed triangle facing each other.
